What's the difference between Hex V1 and Hex V2?

They're inverse cuts of each other — the corners or edges are trimmed from opposite positions on the plate. Since Hex is made to order rather than a fixed size, we manufacture it to the dimensions you need.

How much do Hex number plates cost?

Hex format is £5 on top of our usual finish pricing — from £17.45 for Standard up to £37.45 for Bevel.

What Are Hex Number Plates?

Hex number plates use a hexagonal plate profile rather than the standard rectangular shape, made by cutting the corners or edges off a standard plate blank in one of two configurations — Hex V1 and Hex V2 — which are inverse cuts of one another. Unlike our other sizes, Hex isn't a single fixed dimension: it's manufactured to order based on what each customer needs, which is why it's available in multiple sizes rather than one standard size.

Hex V1 vs Hex V2: What Is the Difference?

Hex V1 and Hex V2 are two inverse hexagonal cuts — the corners or edges are trimmed from opposite positions, giving each a distinct look from the same underlying shape. Since Hex is made to order rather than one fixed size, we manufacture it to the dimensions each customer needs.
