DELIVERY & DISPATCH

Order your replacement number plates online and choose delivery by Royal Mail or collection from our Ilford collection point.

We make plates to order and complete the required document checks before supplying road-use plates. Once your order and checks are complete, we aim to dispatch qualifying orders on the same working day.

1. NUMBER PLATE DELIVERY COSTS

• Royal Mail First Class is £3 for orders under £15 and free when your goods order value is £15 or more.
• You can upgrade to Royal Mail Tracked 24 for an additional £2. This means the total delivery charge is £5 on orders under £15 and £2 on orders of £15 or more.
• An order of exactly £15 qualifies for free First Class delivery.
• The £15 threshold is based on the value of the goods in your order before delivery charges.

Your available delivery option and the applicable charge are shown during the ordering process and in your basket before you complete your purchase.

2. HOW QUICKLY WILL MY NUMBER PLATES BE DISPATCHED?

Your plates are made to order, and the required document checks must be completed before we can supply road-use plates.

If your order and required document checks are complete before 2pm Monday to Friday, we aim to dispatch your plates that working day, excluding bank holidays.

If your order or document checks are completed after 2pm or over the weekend, same-day dispatch is not aimed for.

Please remember that dispatch and delivery are different. Dispatch means your parcel has been handed to Royal Mail; delivery is when Royal Mail delivers it to your address.

3. WHAT CAN DELAY DISPATCH?

Document checks may take longer if:

• A required document is missing
• A document is unclear
• The information provided does not match the vehicle or registration evidence
• Additional information is needed to complete the required checks

Completing your document checks promptly can help avoid unnecessary delays.

4. ROYAL MAIL DELIVERY TIMES

• Royal Mail First Class aims to deliver on the next working day, including Saturday.
• Royal Mail Tracked 24 also aims for next-working-day delivery and includes tracking.

These are Royal Mail delivery aims, not guaranteed delivery times. Actual delivery can take longer depending on Royal Mail service conditions, weekends, bank holidays and your location.

For example, if your order and document checks are completed before 2pm on a Thursday, we aim to dispatch it that day and Royal Mail aims to deliver the following working day.

For orders dispatched on a Friday, First Class includes Saturday delivery, but we do not guarantee Saturday or Monday arrival.

Allow additional time around bank holidays.

5. NUMBER PLATE COLLECTION IN ILFORD

If you are local to Ilford, you can choose collection instead of delivery.

Our collection point is: Castleview Gardens, Ilford, IG1 3QF

Same-day collection may be available, with plates ready within approximately 3 hours. Please contact us via WhatsApp to confirm availability and that your order is ready before travelling.

Collection readiness is separate from the 2pm dispatch process, so the delivery cut-off should not be treated as a collection deadline.

We will provide the collection instructions and let you know what you need to bring when confirming your collection.

6. WHERE DO WE DELIVER?

We deliver number plates by Royal Mail to addresses across Great Britain.

If you are ordering from Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man, please contact us before placing your order so we can confirm whether delivery is available to your location.

Royal Mail's next-working-day delivery aim may also not apply to some remote areas, including parts of the Highlands and Islands of Scotland.

7. WHAT HAPPENS IF MY PARCEL IS LATE OR DAMAGED?

If your parcel is late, missing or arrives damaged, contact us with your order number and details of the problem.

Where possible, a photo of the parcel and plates can help us investigate the issue with Royal Mail.

Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

8. NEED YOUR PLATES QUICKLY?

If you need replacement number plates urgently, completing your order and required document checks before 2pm Monday to Friday gives us the opportunity to aim for same-day dispatch.

If you are local to Ilford, collection may also be available instead of delivery.
